The Problem You Didn’t Know You Had

It’s 10:30 pm on launch day, and I can’t sleep.

So instead, I’m writing about a client story — one that sums up a problem at least 60% of my clients face. (This one was just a little… extra.)

I’d been working with this client for about three months. They were awesome people — smart, passionate, great energy. But wow… it was like herding cats on roller skates.

Every strategy I gave them got “remixed.”

They’d sprinkle in their own clever touches, toss in half a new idea, then either launch the Frankenstein version or forget about it completely.

It was like watching someone try to bake a cake while swapping out the ingredients every five minutes. Hilarious, but also painful to watch.

Yep. The winners actually followed the recipe. They listened, they learned, and they got their money’s worth.
