Once Upon a Time…

Phillip Monk isn’t just another agency owner. He’s a digital marketing veteran with more than £950 million in online sales under his belt. Pretty much the Don Draper of Lancashire.

But even titans miss things. And when I first sat down with him (over biscuits and coffee, obviously), I spotted a gaping hole in Monkeyfish’s services:

Within a week of launching, Monkeyfish Group had signed 7 new email retainers. Clients were buzzing, revenue shot up, and the team had a brand-new weapon in their arsenal.

And the best part? I didn’t just write the words and bounce. I worked side-by-side with Phillip’s crew, training them in copy that actually sells, sequences that actually convert, and — yes — they even trained me in all the back-end techy stuff that used to make my brain ache.

 

And They Lived Happily Ever After

Fast forward to today, and Monkeyfish and The Legacy Room are joined at the hip. Together, we co-created The Legacy Formula to train other businesses on the exact strategies that work.

Phillip himself is now an executive consultant with us, and we continue to build what we like to call:
