That seems great and all, but like every other hero, I’ve got an origin story.
Don’t worry though, my last name isn’t King, so this won’t be a novel.
My Legendary Origin Story:
I used to work at a Taiwanese warehouse, stacking and loading boxes in the middle of New Jersey, and it wasn’t the best, but it got me by.
And every evening, I was corrupting my brain with mindless scrolling and entertainment.
It felt like I was stuck in a time loop. It was repetitive, I had no purpose, and it failed to give me that “umph” I was looking for.
But soon that would all change…
In the midst of zombifying my brain, I came across a video of a British man who seemed to have an odd obsession with words.
And pretty soon I had one too.
This thing called “Copywriting” began to consume me, and before I knew it, I was pushing myself to improve every single day.
Instead of wasting my evenings, I dedicated my spare time to understanding the art of persuasion through text.
I started:
- Listening to podcasts
- Binge-watching videos (and that British guy)
- Joining courses
- Practicing my skills every chance I get
- And breaking down the best copy that’s out
Eventually, things fell into place. I closed a client, and the rest was history.
Now, I’ve joined one of the strongest marketing teams on the internet. My results screamed loud enough that I was recruited into the Marketing Avengers—Kav, Ahmed, Kareem, Gulfham, the list goes on.
